Peek into My Story

I am a passionate UX designer with a penchant for all things related to digital artistry, whether it’s digital illustration, 3D animation, graphic design, or video editing. My passion for UX design is fueled by the desire to evoke emotions and create experiences that are memorable, making every interaction a pleasant one. Ever since I was a young boy, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the world of artistic design. I just didn’t know which avenue to explore. So, I embarked on a journey of discovery, dipping my toes into various creative fields, until I found what corresponds to me best – UX design.

Before venturing on this UX Design journey, I earned my undergraduate bachelor degree in Information Technology at Carleton University (Ottawa, ON) in a program that specializes in Computer Graphics and Design. I learned coding, game and web development, and even 3D animation. In fact, my final graduation group project was a 3D animated short film. Moreover, this academic journey opened me doors to apply my design skills in diverse work settings, including an enriching internship at the federal government in Ottawa.

After discovering UX Design, I decided to dive headfirst into it by enrolling in a 3-month rigorous bootcamp where I learned the principles and processes of effective user-centered design. This experience solidified my dedication to a career in UX Design.

Having grown up under the radiant sun of beautiful Burundi in East Africa, my adaptability to life’s challenges was nurtured from an early age. Embracing various cultures over the years has profoundly influenced both my personal growth and my approach to design. I invite to take a look at my resume below.
